“God’s delay is not God’s denial” ~ Attibuted to Napoleon Hill
Do you have a dream you’ve been chasing? Goals you’ve been working persistently and diligently toward that just don’t seem to be getting any closer?
Are you getting tired of doing the right thing… choosing gratitude… grinding in the dark, quiet early hours… reframing setbacks as opportunities to grow… and still not seeing the breakthrough you’ve been praying for?
Are you waking up early to pray, writing gratitude lists, speaking affirmations, feeding your mind with truth, journaling, reviewing your growth, rehearsing the skills and habits needed to step into your future — pouring everything you have into becoming who you need to become — and your dreams still feel far off in the distance?
This doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re being formed.
That uncomfortable tension you feel in your heart right now may be preparation. The long, quiet hours of effort and obedience are like time in a forge — heat and pressure shaping you into someone who can receive, steward, and multiply what’s ahead.
Even if the visible blessing hasn’t arrived yet, that doesn’t mean God isn’t at work. In the waiting, your endurance is being strengthened. Through setbacks, resilience is being built. In moments of doubt, faith is being refined. In the face of fear, your capacity to love and trust grows deeper.
The resistance you’re encountering is not meaningless. It is shaping you into the man or woman you were created to be.
Yes, we have goals. Yes, we have dreams. But this journey has always been about who we are becoming along the way.
So don’t give up.Don’t give in.Don’t waver.Don’t settle.
Keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep growing. Keep doing the next right thing, moment after moment, day after day.
You are not forgotten. You are not unseen. And your story is not finished.
Nothing you have walked through — no struggle, no tear, no lonely night — has been wasted. Even here, especially here, God is at work in ways you cannot fully see yet.
The sun still rises after the darkest night. Seasons change. This season will not last forever.
You are a child of God. Dig deep and draw on His love for comfort, His hope for peace, His strength for endurance, and His faithfulness to steady your heart.
Life doesn’t just give us what we want — it shapes us into who we need to become. If we want more, we must be willing to grow more.
Stoke the eternal flame inside you. Stay in the fight. Keep stretching your limits. You may be closer than you think.
You are exactly where you are supposed to be in this moment, even if you don’t yet understand why.
Nothing — absolutely nothing — is outside of His awareness or beyond His ability to use for good.
Keep going. You've got this.
